Owner + Project Manager

A Maine native, Jesse pursued his undergraduate degree in Environmental Design at the University of Colorado Boulder. Throughout his schooling, he worked as a mountain bike trail planner and GIS technician, helping to develop and rehabilitate trails all over Colorado’s Front Range and Summit County. Post-graduation, he worked as the Lead Ski Area Planner and All Purpose Troubleshooter at Bluebird Backcountry, a new model of ski area located outside of Steamboat Springs, CO. After his 6+ years of working in the Colorado Backcountry, he returned home to start Hurricane Valley Holdings, named after the agricultural valley he was raised in.

He wanted to combine his passion for design with his keen eye for topography and interest in cutting edge technology. Thus Hurricane Valley Holdings LLC was born, a design and consulting company that harnesses the latest in unmanned aerial systems tech, coupled with advanced GIS and 3D modeling techniques. All these components serve the greater goal of HVH; providing high quality and affordable solutions to the excavation, construction, architecture, and planning communities in Maine.

When he’s not flying drones or poring over topographic maps, you can find Jesse fishing for stripers in Casco Bay, putting around the wood shop, snowmobiling, skiing, and enjoying all the great Maine woods has to offer.
